JOHN RAYMOND "JACK"
On February 17, 2018, age 90, of Conneaut Lake, formerly of Munhall. Beloved husband for 70 years to Alice (Redpath) Maddigan; loving father of Raymond (Shirley) Maddigan, Karen (the late Regis) Martin, Coleen (Matthew) Wierzchowski, and Jack (Lisa) Maddigan; cherished grandfather of Shane, Michael, Allison, Cara, Maggie, Matthew, Amy, Jacob, Abby, and the late Jonathan; great-grandfather of eight; brother of Daniel (Mary Ann) Maddigan and the late Madeliene Peters. WWII veteran, proud 1951 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, foreman with US Steel for 36 years, and an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. Friends received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME, 3511 Main St., Munhall, 412-461-6394. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Therese Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Carnegie Library of Homestead where Jack was a longtime member.
