John Masse Obituary
He was born May 19, 1932, in Montreal to parents Aurore and Alcibiade Masse, according to Beecher Flooks Funeral Home Inc., which handled his funeral arrangements.
He graduated from McGill University in 1956 with a degree in electrical engineering and did postgraduate work at the University of Manchester in England. Masse worked for RCA Victor in New Jersey and then GTE/Verizon in Connecticut as a finance professional.
Throughout his life, he enjoyed gardening, skiing, sailing, traveling, cooking, fine wines and especially dining with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice; a son, Paul Masse and his wife, Laura, of Bronxville; two daughters, Lauren and her husband, Robert Bull, of Pleasantville and Julie Masse of Norton, Mass.; five grandchildren, Heather, Caitlin, Kyle, Adrienne and Morgan; two sisters, Huguette and Jacqueline; and a brother, Gaetan.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Jan. 21 at Holy Innocents Roman Catholic Church in Pleasantville.
