Sending sincere sympathy and letting you know my heart goes out to you at this time of great sadness. Please know that God cares about how you feel and invites you to let him help you. (Jeremiah 29:12) . . .And YOU will certainly call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to YOU. .

John was one of the most influential people I have met in my life and my PR mentor. After working for him for a few years I moved to Atlanta and eventually started my own PR firm specializing in real estate and sports marketing.
I never asked him but a business colleague of John's introduced us when he looking for someone to join his Edelman staff in Washington in 1969. To this day, I think John decided to hire me when he learned I was from Oklahoma. He was Oklahoma born and bred, and so am I! I will miss him and will always cherish my work experience and friendship with the man who was a great boss and mentor.

May all of John's family and friends be comforted with memories of his well lived life. I was happy to help him get his driving privileges back a few years ago. May he rest in peace.

John will be missed by so many. It was an honor and pleasure to have known him. He is one of the people who most influenced my life. I had the good fortune to have worked with him at Edelman in my 20's. Now at the age of 65, I reflect on how much I have to thank him for. My work ethic, professionalism and confidence are credits to what he did for me.
RIP John

Got to know John 11 yeas ago when we moved to Green Valley. He became a good friend. Loved the conversations we shared over the years. He will be missed by many in our retirement community.
