JOHN MOSELEY Obituary

MOSELEY, John Marcellus "Bumpsy," 82, departed this life August 17, 2012 in New Rochelle, N.Y. He was predeceased in death by his parents, William Thomas and Charlotte Graham Moseley; brothers, William Thomas and Daniel Webster Moseley; sister, Margaret M. Poindexter Norrell and Mary Elizabeth Moseley. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Gussie; daughter, Dannette M. Gates (Edward); grandson, Edward Gates Jr.; nieces, Elsie M. Hardwicke (John) and Margaret P. Howlette; sister-in-law, Elsie M. Moseley; several great-nieces, nephews and cousins. He leaves a host of friends including classmates from the 1949 graduating class of Armstrong High School. Remains rest at the Chiles' Funeral Home, 2100 Fairmount Ave., where viewing and visitation will be held Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon followed by graveside services at Oakwood Cemetery. Dr. Grady W. Powell, pastor, in residence of Garland Baptist Church will preside.
