Percy, John Floyd, Birch Run, Michigan. Died Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at his residence. Age 76 years. John was born May 8, 1928 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Louis and Rose (Loranger) Percy. He had resided in the Birch Run area since 1932. He was employed with Bailer & Deshaw, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed walking, gardening and driving his tractor. Surviving are brother, Bill Percy of Birch Run; sisters, Evelyn Kwaiser of Saginaw; Francis Fent of Little Rock, Ark.; several nieces and nephews. John was also preceded in death by his brothers, Albert, Louis, Henry, Jimmy, Bob and Harold and sister, Mary Louise. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2004 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Mr. Arthur L. Percy officiating. Burial in Birch Run Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
