To: Frank Piro and Family:
So very sorry for the lost of your Dad, he was a wonderful man in so many ways. Of course he was my doctor and I could only say I wish I had a doctor like him now a days. Again, sorry for your lost.

Diane, Maria and all the Piro's,
My heart is aching with you at the loss of one of the dearest friends of my life. We were room mates at Holy Cross where we shared many happy times on and off campus, with each other's families and friends, followed by strikingly similar careers as general surgeons. May he rest in peace.

To Dianne, and all the Piro's that I grew up with.
I've known "Doc" for over 50 years; started as a caddie and grew into a great friendship. I've been the Florida connection for the passed years, playing golf, having dinner and more. Frank Reale and Doc Piro's golf bags were on my shoulders for many years. My Norwalk connection.
What a Great Man, Father,Surgeon, and companion to you all. A very sensitive and sweet man.
My sincere condolences to you all.
I just lost a great Friend,
Rick Durham. Boynton Beach, FL.

I am so very sorry to hear that Dr. Piro has died.
I was a nurse at the hospital from 1962, after nursing school,, until 2009 .
Dr. Piro was always so kind and supportive to all of the nurses ;; a very kind person, as well as being a wonderful Doctor.
