John Scherer Obituary
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday November 11th from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11am at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made in John's name to Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church 4815 Hamilton Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21206. Online tributes may be left for the family at www.schimunekfuneralhomes.com

My condolences to your family on the loss of this wonderful man. I worked with John during his years at MDE. He was a kind and gentle co-worker, mentor, and friend. I will always remember his strong work ethic, his ability to embrace change, and his positive outlook on life. He will be missed.

Cathy, So sorry that your Dad has passed away. We believe that he has been called home, it is sad for us but we can be happy for him. He is now with God the Father free of pain, worries, and no more struggles with sickness. We love you and are praying for Jesus to wrap you and your family in his arms comforting you during these trying times.
