John A. Sobin Jr.

John A. Sobin, Jr., of East Hartford, died Saturday (May 11, 2002). Born in Derby, he was the son of the late John, Sr. and Mary Sobin. He lived most of his life in the Shelton area prior to moving to East Hartford. John was employed by Sikorski Aircraft until his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and U.S. Air Force veteran. He is survived by two brothers, Robert and Roland Sobin; a sister, Andrea Clark; a niece; and five nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Anita Lazowski. Funeral and burial were held privately at the family's convenience. Providing care to the Sobin family is the Giuliano-Sagarino Funeral Home at BROOKLAWN, 511 Brook Street, Rocky Hill.
