JOHN THOMAS Obituary
John dedicated his life to the field of ophthalmology, serving as an ophthalmologist in Boston and as a faculty member at Harvard Medical School. He was a prolific author, contributing numerous scholarly papers and textbooks on ophthalmic surgery. His expertise also extended to the medicinal use of cannabis, about which he published a book in 2022.
Beyond his professional achievements, John was known for his kindness and generosity. He was deeply committed to philanthropy, often using his skills and knowledge to help and heal others. He cherished his cultural heritage while embracing and loving his adopted country.
John is survived by his loving wife, Holly, and sons, Zubin and Shailin. He also leaves behind his brothers, George and Mathai. John's legacy of compassion, intellect, and dedication to his family and community will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

I worked with Dr. Thomas in the late 1990s. I remember him as a kind, thoughtful man. My sincerest condolences to his family.
