Dear Valerie and John,Sr.,

You do not know me , but I saw your beautiful son's picture in the paper and read his obituary. My precious son Joey, who was 16, died September 30th of this year and my heart is broken. Even though we do not know each other, I feel a bond with you. Perhaps if we hold onto those we love and try to again find beauty in the world, we can all make it through. My deepest sympathies are with you and your family.

Sincerely,

Carole Sauers
