I worked with John at PPD. What I remember most was his sense of humor and his laugh. My sympathies to his partner and family.

John worked for me and with me at Pensacola Junior College Police Department. He was a valued member of our team and I appreciated his willingness to share his knowledge for the good of our department. John was dependable and loyal, giving 110% to the job he was assigned. On a personal note, John was a good man, one I was honored to call, "friend." I've missed our visits over the years as John moved on to be an asset to other organizations. My prayers are with all who loved John. His legacy will touch the lives of many.

John, my dear friend. You have been to my house many times for meals, but the first time you ate with me I made cornbread dressing. You said "that's the best I've ever had" you said I should put a patent on it. You made me feel very special. You have been a member of our family for over 20 years. You will be greatly missed. My son Paul loved you very much. You taught him strength and caring. He took care of you til the very end. You fought a long battle but you got tired. The Lord knew this and took you home. One day I will see you in heaven. I love you, John

John. You will be missed greatly. I've known you since Millington in 1973 when you lived across the street from me and my family. Then to meet up again with you when I was grown and to fight fire with you in Bellview. It was my honor to know you. RIP my friend.

Our hearts are heavy with sadness with the news of John's passing. He will be sorely missed, as he was a member of our extended family. His long friendship with my brother Paul is a true testament of what a friend really is.
John was steadfast in his commitment to give my brother guidance and support through the years. He was a generous and giving person throughout his life, answering the call to both miltary and civil duty, serving with distinction. John had endured many health hardships. He was strong and gave it his all, till God decided to call him home. In remembrance of John we offer our deepest heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
We are blessed to have known him, and take solace to know that he is with his Lord... God Bless you John...with love, the family of Michael, Vicki, Brenton, and Corey Ferguson
