I was on my way to Boston when I heard the news of John's untimely death. Sadly I missed his memorial and funeral but I wanted to share my grief. As someone who worked and knew John in the past in the countless committees and Planning Commission meetings I can honestly say he was one of the kindest and most intelligent people I have had the pleasure of knowing and he will be sorely missed.

John will be remembered by my son Kyle and me for having the greatest smile in the world. He unfailingly stopped by the choir loft at Our Lady of Angels to express his appreciation for the music and to gently rib Kyle about high school, and then college, and the Cowboys. Our hearts and prayers go out to John Lamar and Lily as well.

PWC has lost a fine individual.... a gentleman and a professional employee.
Always had a friendly smile and a happy hello whenever we crossed paths at the Courthouse for twenty some years.
My sincere condolences to his son, family members and associates.
