John Edward Wills (also known as Jack), age 87, of Canadohta Lake, passed away on June 4th, 2017. Son of the late "Buss" and Nellie Wills, he was born in Millvale, Pa., on January 20th, 1930.

He graduated from Millvale High School in 1947.

Jack married Beverly Brown Davis in 1995 at Riceville United Methodist Church. He was a drummer of a local band. Jack was a member of the Millvale Luncheon Club and a 32nd degree Mason. He was a mechanic and owned his own garage. He had his own race cars. In his retirement, he enjoyed nine years of being a Walmart greeter. He also enjoyed fishing, boating and hunting with his grandchildren, family and friends. He enjoyed playing cards with all his friends and family.

Jack was proud to the first member of the Northwest PA Life Center in Meadville, Pa., and enjoyed going to the center weekly. The family wants to thank the wonderful ladies at the center who cared for him. Jack was a friend to everyone he met.

He is survived by a son, John (Joyce) Wills. Beverly's children are Alfred Davis (Patricia), Joseph Davis (Diane), Deborah James (Greg), and Lori Coleman (Mark). He was also a very proud grandfather to John and Samantha Wills, Justin, Alfred and Shain Davis, Joe Davis (Amy), Jeremie Davis (Crystal), Julia Davis, Jessica, Jeanea and Joshua James, Mark Coleman, Ryan Coleman (Jami), Mariah Coleman, and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many friends at Canadohta Lake and Pittsburgh.

Jack was preceded in death by his first wife Sandra and Beverly's son Alfred Stanley Davis Jr.

Services will be held at Bock Funeral Home, 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116. Calling hours are Friday from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 8:00 p.m.

Burial will be at Mount Royal Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

There will be a memorial service held at the Riceville United Methodist Church, 37748 PA Hwy. 77, Centerville, PA 16404, on June 17th at 3:00 p.m. for all friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bloomfield Fire Department, 22978 Shreve Ridge Road, Union City, PA 16438.

I always loved waiting on Jack and the family many years ago at Ethel's Lakeview Restaurant. Through that connection they became friends. My deepest condolences to the family, special prayers for Jack's son, John and his family.

My parents were friends with Jack, Sandy, Buss, and Nellie for many years. I have many fond memories of the many times we got together at Canadohta Lake. My sympathies to Johnny and Jack's family.
