I'm so happy I was able to visit cousin Johnny this past April. We talked about some of the good times our family shared together. Rest in peace my condolences and deepest sympathy to the immediate family, friends and love ones. Toni Patterson-Nettles and The California family

Megan, thank you so much for sharing your special photos and memories of your dad. You just don't know how much it means to us "his siblings" to be made aware of the circumstances that you all were subjected to. Please know that you and your siblings will always be in our thoughts and prayers. May the Lord continue to comfort, strengthen and shower you all with "Grace upon Grace".
With so much love - Auntie Marilyn

Dad, you came to me in my dream this past Sunday and I believe it was because you knew I needed to say sorry for not being there for you. You looked like you did before you got sick. You had on your infamous polo shirt and your beard was full just how you liked it. Dad I wish I could have taken you away. I wish Me you Johnny and David could have been set free! Nobody will ever admit it but you deserved so much better. I hope I made you proud Dad. I hope you know every knock on my head then you´d yell "DO SOME THINKING MEGAN" worked in my favor because of you I´ve done lots of thinking. I want you to know you were a great dad! I know you did what you could under the circumstances. I hope you heard my prayers and my cry. I hope you know that I love you. I hope you know that your children love you. I hope you´re FREE!
I love you past a lifetime Dad. - Megan
