A much-loved father, grandfather, & great grandfather. Johnny Scott 78, of Hillsboro, Alabama, passed away peacefully in Madison, Al at Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family care with his family present. Unexpectantly, He suffered a massive stroke and passed a few days later. He was born May 15th, 1947, in Russellville, Al and resided in Hillsboro, Al for the past 30+ years. He traveled in Construction for years before settling in North Alabama. After which, he worked for multiple construction companies in leadership roles and gained many friendships over those years.

Johnny had been retired over 15 years and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed Golf, Fishing, riding ATV's & Grill outs. He loved to sing, but in Johnny fashion. He also loved working with his hands on any kind of carpentry projects and would often recruit family.

He is survived by his brother Jeff Scott and wife Kelly of Birmingham; Brother-in-law Joey Hensley of Phil Campbell; daughter Robin Horton and husband Jimmy of Rogersville; son Johnny Scott Jr (Jay) and wife Kristy of Hatton; daughter Britney Speegle and husband Jonathan of Decatur; daughter Whitney Keeton and husband Justin of Hartselle; He had 11 grandkids and 17 great grandkids. He was preceded in death by his mother, Francis Greene Scott, brother Bobby Scott, sisters Shirley Scott, Yvonne Seahorn, and Jenny Hensley; great granddaughter Kasey Keeton.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date.
