Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Precious Father,
For this family who is hurting I pray that you will hold them in the palm of your hand and that you will saturate them in your peace. Please let them to remember Father God, that you are not a stranger to their sorrow.
I pray that the memory of their precious little girl, will remain with them and I pray that her little life, will reach out around her and will make an impact that goes well beyond her twelve years. Show them Father God, that while her death was tragic and senseless, that you can make beauty grow from even the worst ashes and you can use it for something positive in the end.
Let them know, that their precious little girl, now rests in Heaven with you and that this seperation is only temporary. Most of all, I ask that you would help their broken hearts to feel your love. They need you more now than ever Father God and I know that you are with them.

Bless and Keep Them Lord and continue to love them and make your presence as close as their own breath.

In Your Precious Name I Ask All These Things
Amen

To the Barber/Wade Family
I had the opportunity to meet Jolesa for a short while and this has impacted me in a way that can not be explained, I remember her getting ready for the track meets and going out of town and being so excited when she showed me the medals, never has a determination from a child has caused me to be glad that she was placed in my life for the time that she was. I can only hope that the memories will eventually allow the hurt to subside and I know that she is in heaven where she can not be hurt again, Kim my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

There are no words I can say that will take away the pain you all are feeling but know that no one can ever hurt "G" ever again. She will truly be missed she had a smile that made everyone take notice and one of the best personalities to match. We all lost a piece happiness with this tradegy. May you find these words comforting, and a strengthing aid to go on each second of the day.

Jehovah God, purposes that his Son will give life to those who have died. Countless millions of children lost in death will “hear his voice” when he speaks to them: “I say to you, Get up!” Those young ones will again be walking and talking. And like, the Bible account of Jairus and his wife, the parents of those children will be “beside themselves with great ecstasy.”

If you have lost a son or a daughter in death, please know that Jehovah can change your sorrow into joy by means of the resurrection.
He promise to be with those who are broken at heart and those crushed in spirit He saves.
Search for Jehovah and his strength. Seek his face constantly.

You will receive strength through prayer to God, you will feel comforted by the loving concern of true Christian companions, and you will be uplifted by studying God’s Word. Moreover, in the near future, you will experience the ‘wonderful works and miracles’ that Jehovah will carry out for your eternal benefit and for that of the child whom you lost in death.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
