A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson for Jon M. Felterman, Sr., 55, a native and resident of Patterson, who passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011, at 1:25 PM at his home. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Fr. Donavan Labbé will officiate the services. Jon is survived by one son, Jon M. Felterman, Jr. and his wife Dorothy; one grandson, Jon M. Felterman, III and one granddaughter, Isabella Galjour, all of Schriever; his parents, Fulton C. "Butch" Felterman, Jr. and Sylvia Folse Felterman of Patterson; and four siblings, Danny Felterman and his wife Linda, Lee Felterman and his wife Jan, Lisa F. Kornegay and her husband Brightman, and Jody Felterman and his wife Beth, all of Patterson. He was preceded in death by one brother, David John Felterman; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fulton C. Felterman, Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester J. Folse. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday at the church from 9:00 AM until Mass time. Standing as pallbearers will be his nephews, Chad Felterman, Tyler Felterman, Ben Felterman, Marc Felterman, Will Kornegay, Parker Felterman, and Luke Felterman.
