I attended my first air show June 24, 2018, in Dayton, Ohio. All the acts were great. But the Redline show just absolutely amazed me. A short while later Jon & his partner walked through the spectators. Something made me make a bee line to meet them and both signed the program. Ill never forget how personable Jon was, as I was telling him that he & his partner were like one in the sky and how impressed I was with their gift. He took the time to exchange pleasantries with a complete stranger. Class act Ill never forget. Spirit in the sky.

I just heard of Jon's passing today. There are no words that can express how sorry I am. I had the privilege of meeting and working with Jon when he attended my Trade Program Orientations and worked as a customer in this program, after Astar's closing. He was a joy to work with and to know. My deepest condolences to his family and aviation family.

Thankyou Jon for your inspiration that has me taking to the skies too in a Vans home-built. Your family's pain is shared all over the world by aviators.
