Jonathan Garner Obituary

KNIGHTDALE - Jonathan Reynolds Garner, 36, of 5420 Trenburg Court, died
Monday, October 17, 2005 at Duke Medical Center. He was born in Hampton VA,
the son of Susan Chaney Garner and Terry Garner and was a Paramedic with
Wake County EMS until his retirement in 2004 due to health reasons.
Jonathan was a 1988 graduate of Wake Forest Rolesville High School, a 1993
graduate of Western Carolina University; he had been a volunteer fire
fighter with the Stony Hill Fire Department and also with the Eastern Wake
Fire Department after moving to Eastern Wake County, he was a member of
Haven Freewill Baptist Church in Raleigh.
Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning, October 20, 2005
at Haven Freewill Baptist Church, 5408 Tryon Road, Raleigh with the Rev.
James Summerson officiating. Burial followed in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens
in Wake Forest.
Mr. Garner is survived by his wife, Lisa Williams Garner; son, Patrick
Garner; parents, Terry and Susan Garner of Wake Forest; sister April Major
and her husband Dave of Louisburg; brother Jason Garner and his wife Leah of
Selma, mother in law Annie B. Lewis of Knightdale numerous nieces & nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jonathan P. Garner Educational
Fund c/o State Employees Credit Union P.O. Box 760 Knightdale, NC 27545.
