Jonathan Waters Obituary
He loved to fish and was an avid fan of the Tarheels and Carolina Panthers. He loved watching the games and betting on the outcomes with his cousins. He will be truly missed by all.
Born June 25, 1983 in Mecklenburg County, he was the son of Rick Waters and the late Cheryl D Haas.
In addition to his Mother, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Floyd Richard Haas Sr.; grandmother, Barbara Ann Long Haas; and uncle, Rodney Wayne Haas.
Jonathan is survived by his ; aunts, Debby Purkey and Karen"KK"Rhyne (Johnny) of Bessemer City; uncle, Floyd Richard Haas Jr. of Gastonia; special cousins, Michael Ledford (Crystal) of Dallas, Kim Travis (Keith) of Ranlo, Eddie Martin (Cheryl) of Patterson Springs; and the children of the family he loved dearly, Nicole, Chloe, Caitlyn, Nathan, Haley, Kendra & Alexis.
Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services of Cherryville is serving the family of Jonathan E. Waters.
A memorial service will be held on June 29, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Dallas Park Shelter #2.
