Joni Carol MacLean peacefully passed from this life Wednesday night, October 26th, 2011 at her residence in Crescent Mills following a valiant battle with cancer. Her loving family was at her side. Born in Sacramento, CA on August 15, 1957 to California natives James and Marilyn (Beal) MacLean, Joni was raised and educated first in Sacramento and then as a young teen moving with her family to Stockton, graduating from Lincoln High School as a member of the 'Class of 1973'. She went on to attend Sacramento State College for one year before starting a career in computer sales. Joni moved on to become a Human Resources Director for Iris USA where she was employed for six years. Joni moved from Stockton to reside in Crescent Mills, CA three years ago. While residing in Stockton Joni attended the Lincoln Presbyterian Church in Stockton and while residing in Crescent Mills attended both the Greenville Southern Baptist Church and the Taylorsville Community United Methodist Church. A talented seamstress Joni enjoyed all types of crafts. In passing Joni leaves her son; Jeon Niroumand of Sacramento, daughter Jenna MacLean of Stockton, parents; James and Marilyn MacLean of Crescent Mills along with her brothers; Jack McLean of Quincy, Neil MacLean of Mammoth, CA and Jeff MacLean of Stockton, CA. A celebration of Joni's life is planned for 11:00AM November 19th, 2011 at the Taylorsville Community United Methodist Church. An opportunity to express your condolences to the family along with signing the memorial guest register is available online at www.fehrmanmortuary.com. The family asks that any remembrances in Joni's memory be made to either the Taylorsville Community United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society c/o Fehrman Mortuary and Crematory P.O. Box 803 Greenville, CA 95947.
