Jose Adolfo Naranjo

Jose Adolfo Naranjo passed peacefully the evening of Monday, November 30, 2020 in Vallejo, CA surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 3 1953 in Apatzingan, Michoacan Mexico. He attended Secundaria Tecnica #5 and immigrated to the United States in January of 1971. While in the United States he started as a dishwasher at Sambos Restaurant in Vallejo, CA. and gradually moved up to head chef, of which he was very proud. In 1977 he married the love of his life Rocio Angel. In 1986 he started his own business, Vallejo Garden Service, doing landscaping services which through hard work and dedication, grew to become Naranjo Irrigation Inc. He was passionate about soccer and was driven to bring the Police Activities League for youth soccer to Vallejo. He later became a PAL coach for boys. Besides his life partner and adoring wife, Rocio Naranjo, he leaves behind his mother, Isabel Naranjo Urena along with two siblings, as well as eldest daughter, Nancy, her husband, Eduardo and their children, Gianna, Junior, and Luis; daughter, Claudia and her husband Roland with her children, Aly, Cristian and Julieta; and daughter, Michelle and her husband Rowland along with little Baby Ronnie on the way. Adolfo had a close-knit relationship with his large extended family and friends. He was proud of the friendships he had built and lives he had impacted through coaching soccer and work. He was loved and respected by so many and had a gift for storytelling and an infectious laugh. He had a huge heart and generously helped many in need. Adolfo was loved beyond words by his adoring family and his passing leaves a hole in the lives of those closest to him.
