On Thursday, January 10, 2008; Beloved husband of Marjorie Baer Allon. Beloved father of Jane Allon Cuddehe (Michael Cuddehe) of Denver, CO, Harvey Baer Allon (Sue Ellis Allon) of Denver, CO, Eric R. (Monica) Allon of Newton, MA and David C. (Pamela S.) Allon of Weston, CT. Brother of the late Meyer Michael Allon. Grandfather of Rachel Allon, Aaron Allon, Natalie Allon, Kyla Allon, Daniel Allon, Kyle Allon, Sydney Allon, Eli Roche and Avery Roche. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Services at RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Sunday at 11:00 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services (10 - 11AM). Interment West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Friends of Magen David Adom, 888 Seventh Avenue, Suite 403, New York, NY 10106.

Joe's personality and achievements sure leave the world a better place. He was already up in years (I realize now) when I got to know him at our Rabinowitz reunion 10 years ago, yet he still fit the stereotype of youth in his enthusiasm and quick mind.
