Joseph Armenti Obituary
Worcester - Joseph A. Armenti, Sr., 76, of Worcester, passed away peacefully Monday, August 7, 2017 in Munroe Regional Medical Center, in Ocala, Florida, surrounded by his loving family.
Joseph is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Norma (Mazzuchelli) Armenti; three daughters, Angela Stanikmas and her fiancé Craig Foisy; Deborah Borski and her husband Robert, and Michelle Swift and her husband Michael; two sons, Joseph, Jr. and his wife Katie, and Marc and his husband Neil Hartlen; eight grandchildren, Jacob Swift, Olivia Stanikmas, Owen and Elaina Borski, Valentina and Teodora Armenti, and Hunter and Devin Foisy; many nieces and nephews.
Joseph is also survived by his sister, Lucy Cariglia and her husband Marty Sr. and brothers-in-law, John Evangelista, Libro Di Pilato, and Eddy Lemanski. Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Guiseppe and Angelina (Bodinizzo) Armenti, his brothers, Ralph, Peter, John, Patsy, and Charlie and sisters, Yolanda Cote, Mary Carillo, Gloria Lemanski, Ida Evangelista, Lena Di Pilato, Katherine Foley and Rosemarie Boisseneau.
Joseph grew up surrounded by family, the youngest of 14, in a three-decker on Lincoln St. in Worcester. He graduated from Commerce High School and served in the US Air Force. Joe took pride in his meticulous work in the flooring industry. He owned his own business and happily ended his career working in sales at Rotman's. Joe and Norma chose Leicester to raise their children, and later in life fulfilled their dream of retiring to Florida.
Joseph enjoyed playing golf and softball, cooking, singing karaoke, but most importantly he loved the time spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Monday morning, August 14, from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, followed by a prayer service at Noon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

So sorry to lose Joe. A great neighbor and team mate. Joe and I played next to each other for years and complimented each other in the outfield. I had so hoped we'd hit the field together again.
I will truly miss looking out my window and seeing Joe on his patio or doing his yard chores--just a great guy.

Norma and family, so sorry to hear of "Uncle Joe's" Passing. He wasn't even my Uncle, and I called Him Uncle Joe. We have good memories of him and the whole family at XMas at the Cote's. We had a lot of fun and laughs. Our thoughts & prayers are with all of you.
