Joseph Christopher Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 16, 2021.
Joe was born on July 3, 1969 and passed away on February 16, 2021. He was a resident of Torrance, California. It has been over a year since our family lost our beloved Joe. He was born and died in his beloved city, of Torrance. He loved the South Bay and enjoyed walking on the Redondo Pier and just spending quality time with family and friends. He attended Madrona Elementary School, West High School, and El Camino College. He was a successful businessman and worked as a national account manager for a major home supply retailer. He was a beloved husband, son, father, brother, uncle, and nephew. He always made family gatherings fun and we would laugh hysterically at his funny jokes, sarcasm, and overall funny observations of life in general. He collected vintage radios and old record albums on the weekends. Before his death, he bought an old Airstream trailer that he planned to restore. His dream was to take his family on a road trip across America. However, he contracted covid-19 and died before vaccines were available. His wish to travel across the states didn't happen, but he soon had another journey to take and we embrace the lifetime of memories that we have in our hearts. A private mass and burial was held in his honor with close relatives in attendance due to covid-19 restrictions. In his memory, play an old Morrissey album or purchase a favorite album of your own and listen to it and remember Joe. He will be smiling down from heaven with that twinkle in his eye. "There is another world. There is a better world. Well, there must be. There must be." -The Smiths If you would like to share a message with the family please email: [email protected].
