To the Gresock family,

Joe was a great guy. I worked with him at Prestolite/Tulip for many years. It was a hard place to work, but Joe--he made the best of it. We shared in the Word of God. He was so encouraging! He loved the Lord Jesus, and he wanted everyone he knew or met to love the Lord the way he did. He knew Jesus was the "Way, the Truth, and the Life."

Joe loved his family, and he talked about them. We worked a 12-hour shift so most of us shared the good times and the bad times. We shared our struggles and our victories.

Mark, Steven, Jacqueline, Mary, Annie and Joelle, you had a very special "dad." He knew that this place was not his home, and, like Abraham, we are just sojourners passing through this earth.

And to you Irene, and the children, you too were very special to Joe. He will be missed!

My words of encouragement to you all;

Psalm 121:1,2

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which made Heaven and earth.

And to Joseph Andrew Gresock, I know that the Lord said to you what the Apostle Paul wrote in the Book of II Timothy:

II Timothy 4:5-8:

5-But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

6-For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7-I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8-Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.

Dear Mom, Mark, Steve, Jackie, Mary, Annie and Joelle: I'm very sorry to hear about Joseph's passing. Although this was a day we knew would come, I truly believed that if anyone cold beat this awful disease, Joseph could and would. He was definately a go-getter, someone 20 plus years older than us kids who would be up earlier on a Saturday and already have lots of work done before we even woke up and was also a very strong willed man. I enjoyed listening to him tell stories about life and work. He could go on talking for hours. Daniel Jose Martinez
