Joseph Leonard Jeansonne, 82, of Greenville, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009.Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Pinewood Memorial Park.Mr. Jeansonne, a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, La., and moved to Greenville in 2007. He had been in the United States Navy, where he served as a seaman in World War II. For 35 years he was employed as a general electrician for New Orleans Public Service.He was preceded in death by a son, Craig Jeansonne, and a grandson, Adam Jeansonne.He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marie Jeansonne; a son, Neil Jeansonne and wife Beverly of Tarboro; and a grandson, Joseph Jeansonne and wife Kristen of Farmville.The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Wilkerson Funeral Home.Funeral arrangements are by Wilkerson Funeral Home in Greenville.

Mr."Joseph" was missed this week at dialysis. I miss his stories. What a wonderful man.
