Florida - Joseph F. LaManna Sr., Age 70, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 due to complications from cancer.

He was the son of Dominick and Maria LaManna. He was born in White Plains, NY on October 5, 1945.

He graduated from Westlake High School. He owned several businesses and gas stations including LaManna Shell on Route 9 in Fishkill. He retired as a doorman/porter from Local 32BJ in Manhattan on December 30, 2015. He loved the NY Yankees and looked forward to Sunday dinners with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Michele Dolfinger LaManna of Yulee, Florida. Joseph leaves behind a saddened family and friends who will miss him dearly. A devoted father, he leaves behind his 5 children, Gina LaManna of Fishkill, NY, Amy LaManna Pellon and her husband David of Pleasantville, NY, Joseph F. LaManna Jr. and his wife Thida of Poughkeepsie, NY, Charles LaManna and his wife Crystal of Hyde Park, NY and Dana LaManna of Poughkeepsie, NY. His brothers, Pat LaManna and his wife Sarah, Carmine LaManna and his wife Betty and his sister Elizabeth LaManna Santore.

His grandchildren, Brittany, Jonathan, Julia and Michael Pellon, Nicole and Danielle McKenna, Kai, Keegan, and Kelsey LaManna, Abigail LaManna and soon to arrive his twin granddaughters, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by his previous wife, Patricia Reilly and her husband Larry of Poughkeepsie, NY.

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Nancy LaManna DeRosa and his brother Dominick LaManna. He was also predeceased by his first wife, Rosemary Egiziano.

Calling hours will be June 2nd from 5-8 at Timothy Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Avenue Poughkeepsie, NY.
