He was a good man and a great neighbour. I will miss our talks on life and the state of the world, as he took a break from some project in the yard or the garage to say hi whenever I'd go by with my French bulldogs. The neighbourhood is a smaller place without him. My sympathies to all his family.

Please accept our Sincere condolences. Joe will be remembered as a kind, hard working assistant Principal in charge of the IOP ( Integrated Occupational Program) for 16 years, under the guidance of my late husband Al Hiebert, who was Principal of St. Joseph High School at that time. With sympathy & prayers, Lorraine Hiebert & family

our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Joseph Martineau ... I was both a student and colleague of his at St. Joseph High School ... I offer the prayer, All Seasons friends written by Fr. Michael Troy, dedicated to all his friends and family ... God Bless and Rest in Peace
All Season's Friends
My God, today, I do commend,
To you my dear and cherished friends.
Try name them all by name were vain,
For countless on my way, You've deigned
To send them to me as I passed.
To me they have been kind and true,
Do Thou their hearts with grace renew,
Peace in their minds for e'er remain,
Their faltering steps with strength sustain,
They helped me mightily as I passed.
Return to them a hundred fold,
The cheering love, they me enfold,
Grant that together in Thy grace,
Heart-linked for aye, we' ll see Thy face,
In timeless love that never shall pass.
When tears are o'er and partings through,
Grant that those friends I loved and knew,
May find a place near Thee above,
For through their hearts, My God, to love,
Unselfishly like Thee, I learned at last.

I wish to extend my sincere sympathies to Joe's family. It was my very good fortune to have worked with Joe on many projects at St. Josephs HS. His honesty, positive demeanour, sage counsel, and unwavering friendship will forever be remembered.

Our deepest sympathy to Mr. Martineau's family. Mr. Martineau had a tremendous influence on me during my high school years at St. Joe's High School. He was a great councillor and vice-princpal. It was a great honour for me to return as a Baker Instructor under his leadership in the IOP department.
