Joe was a wonderful person, a good friend and an honorable brother in Hartley Lodge #199 Freemasons of California. He was an insperation to me in the lodge and an honest, forthright person that it was my pleasure and honor to know. He will be missed by all who knew him and his passing is a loss for all of us. My sympathies, thoughts, prayers and best wishes go out to all the members of his family and his many friends.

Kamy, I was so sorry to learn of Joe's death. I remember you two as a happily young married couple, just starting your family, when I had my flower shop in Kelseyville. I'm sure your life together, although too short, was precious. God Bless you and your children.

We are deeply sorry for the loss of Joe. His brother Rick Maxwell is our son-in-law. These are very sad times in our lives. We pray that our Lord will give them comfort, understanding and courage. We all must remeber to think about the good times that we have had with our love ones, for one day we too shall join them. Helen and Alan

Kamy and all of the Maxwell family:Iam very sorry for your loss. I worked with Joe at Sprouse Ritz and knew him to always be smiling and happy. He has a wonderful sense of humor as was displayed in his choice of Halloween costumes. He knew how to make others smile. I know that he will be missed by all that knew him. It's hard to find the words to express feelings. I am truly thankful Joe was a God Loving man. He is at peace and is happy. Now we all that remain are sad & full of sorrow. Joe was indeed unique and extremely loving. We were like family as he told me so often. Even being far away didn't stop the chatting. Most often on facebook and/or email. He will be missing by many. My heart goes out to Kamy, Jennifer & Kyle. I share your pain as well as with the rest of Joe's family. Love you Joe. Will totally miss you until we meet again....

I am saddened by the loss of Joe, taken way too early. I have known him for 30 years. We worked together as teenagers at Sprouse-Reitz and he met his wife Kamy through me.I was in their wedding and Kamy was in mine. They were soulmates. My heart goes out to her, their children and all of his family members.Joe was a very caring, unique man and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
