Joseph Andrew McGrath Jr.

Joseph A. McGrath, Jr., age 98, died Monday March 4, 2019 in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born August 8, 1920 in Detroit, MI. to the late Joseph, Sr. and Anna (LeMieux) McGrath. Joseph served in the Army during World War II. He was a truck driver for many years and in his spare time he loved being outdoors on his farm. Joseph is survived by a daughter Anna (John) Hughes, 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, a sister in law, Ruthann (Louis) Ihm, brother in law, Lloyd Aney, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jerolyn. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel in Muskegon, MI with a visitation starting 2 hours prior. There will be Military rites conducted by the local honor guard. Burial will be in Volney Cemetery in Bitely, MI.
