Joseph Nichols Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Molly; his children, Aidan and Mia, who he loved more than the air he needed to breathe; and many other close friends that he considered his chosen family.
Raised in Chicago, Joseph was a true Bears fan, making him both a masochist and an expert in disappointment. He had many hobbies, including: indie films, music and audio, and teasing those he cared about. You knew he liked you if he was pushing boundaries with you.
He loved his animals, especially the family dogs, Maya and Lilith. He never cared for cats, as he was deeply allergic, but loved one - Molly's cat Kubali, the only cat he was never allergic to.
In honor of his memory, please consider making a dedicated donation to the American Heart Association.

Echoing Steve Lopez, Joe was an extremely unique and fun person to work with. I learned a lot from him early in my career and loved his sense of humor. One of the only people I ever sought out to hang out with outside of work because he was ten times funnier after hours, which seems impossible but was true. Molly, I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you and your family in my prayers. Rest in peace, buddy.

Joe was truly one of a kind, he had such an ability to connect with people and put a smile on anyone's face. I'll miss reminiscing with Joe about our days working together, our foray into making the best hot sauce in the world, and of course pointing out every mistake being made by the Bears.
Molly, Brianna and I are so sorry for your loss, please let us know if there is anything you need, ever. I'll never forget you Joe, and I'm so eternally grateful I got to know you and call you a friend. Rest in peace brother.
