JOSEPH PAIESKI Obituary
Age 68, of North Fayette, formerly of Lawrenceville, on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013. Beloved husband of Eleanor (Sciulli); loving father of Robert Paieski and Melanie (Michael) Shideler; devoted grandfather of Robert and Randall Paieski, Madison, Logan, and Gabriella Shideler; brother of Kenneth (Priscilla) Paieski. Bob retired from the Pittsburgh Police Department as a Sergeant after 35 years of service. Visitation at the D'ALESSANDRO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, LTD., Butler at 46th Sts., Lawrenceville, Thursday and Friday 2-8 p.m., where family and friends will gather Saturday at 10 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Angels Parish, St. Augustine Church at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Allegheny Valley School Green Garden-Capital Development Fund, 1996 Ewings Mill Rd., Coraopolis, PA 15108. Oakdale Masonic Lodge #669 F & AM Service will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Bob-Pie was an exceptionally strong man. He overcame so much and his attitude, kindness, and caring ways will be missed to the world. He wasn't afraid to make a new friend. I'll take comfort in knowing there is one hell of an Angel up there now.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Paieski. He was such a great guy and I only have the pleasure of knowing him for a little over a year but he went out of his way for me to get an insurance policy for my granddaughter through the Polish organization. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

We are sorry for your loss. We regret that we cannot be there in person with his family and friends to say good bye. I had many good times with Bobby at PRCUA tournaments since 1975 and Steve loved golfing with Bobby. We were happy to have met Ellie, Melanie and the grandkids he spoke of highly. We will miss him.
