We talked about lunch together when back-up to Ma in August. One of the sharpest ad men I ever called on while at WEEI Radio. Not only sharp but tough too. Spent a lot of time up in that upper floor office garage. Will always be a fond memory. RIP Joe.

Uncle Joe" - he was always that to me, and we go way, way back. Too many great memories to count. He was a kind soul, always ready with common-sense advice when I needed it - and quick with his humor. I remember telling him one Thanksgiving that he should´ve been Johnny Carson´s sidekick, and I meant it. He had that kind of timing and wit.
His talent was remarkable - especially the beautiful furniture he built. I think he inherited that natural gift from his father, who was so talented with watercolor painting.
Though I lost touch with many friends in Boston after moving to California , Uncle Joe and I reconnected more in recent years, especially after my mother - his sister - passed. We spoke more often then, and I´m so grateful for that.
He really took care of himself ate very healthy, which makes his passing all the more shocking. He´ll always be remembered with love, laughter, and deep respect."
Regards,
Michael Cummings

The last few days have been a kaleidoscope of memories of the wonderful times shared with my sister and Joe. When he married my sister he was my brother-in-law who shortly became my brother. I will forever be grateful for the love, respect and generosity he showed for my mother. Ted and I love you Joe. You are now home with my sister.

Joe was such a a spark of life every time we met. Funny, intelligent and outwardly interested in the world and always focused on you, not him. He was a new friend but one that felt like and old one. I will miss him.
