28.2.1939 — 4.10.2017 Passed into eternal life from a sudden stroke. Loved dearly by his sister Vi Douglas, Fred and family. Joe was a dedicated Neurologist and a caring and generous man, father and friend. We mourn your passing Joe yet celebrate your life and the contribution you made to us all.
We send you and all those you have left behind our heartfelt thoughts, prayers and love. May the Lord welcome you to eternal life, grant you peace and eternal happiness.
May perpetual light shine upon you and may you rest in peace.

Loved father of Samantha (dec.) and Christopher. Former husband of Sandra. Son of Rosina (dec.) and Antonio (dec.). Brother of Vi and Gerri, brother-in-law of Fred and Roger.
He will be remembered for his remarkable intellect and the care he showed for family, friends and his many patients.

SCOPA (Dr Joseph ): It is with great regret that the Department of Neurology Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and the wider neurological community acknowledges the passing of Dr Joseph Scopa. Dr Scopa was a founding member of the Department. His colleagues will miss his contagious warm heartedness and generous spirit as well as his clinical expertise. Sincere condolences to his family.
