Dr. stolfi was a wonderful physician, but also one of the finest joke tellers I've known. Celebrate his life. He was one of a kind.

I was a Social Worker from 1972-1994 when it was Mansfield Gen. Hosp. and enjoyed working with Dr. Stolfi and his group altho our office didn't get many referrals from his/them. I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking about him brings a smile to my face and heart. Pat Naftzger, El Paso, TX Jim Curry gave us the sad news.

I just wanted to express my admiration to all of you during Joe's illness. He was a great leader throughout high school. As I read the acknowledgements it is clear that Joe brought his compassion and intelligence to all that he did. I am deeply saddened by this loss.

Dear Mrs Stolfi, I worked the neuro floor as a nurse during the early years of your husbands practice. What a caring and compassionate man he was. The community was very lucky to have him come to the area. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. Although you must feel the time with him was to short, you will know no amount would have been enough. God Bless.

Dr Stolfi was a wonderful man. I had the honor of working with him for many years at Med Central. Even when he was not on call he would come to the rescue if called. He delivered the worst news with kindness, empathy and understanding. He taught us to be better nurses as he explained details patiently to us. He was always proud of us when we used that information to recognize serious signs later on. He would tease us and say Hey I didn't think you were listening, and smile as he chuckled. He and his Diet Coke can were always a welcome sight! He was always a gentleman and a proud father telling us about his family and pets. Know that he was a wonderful physician who touched so many lives, and was loved and respected by his co-workers. May your faith provide the strength to sustain you in this difficult time.
