I think of Joe every time I look at the roof he helped install on our little house and garage. He and Eros worked around their day jobs one summer and removed layers of old roof from the ancient structure. We now have a beautiful, sturdy roof with a portion of the flat roof Joe was an expert in.
We appreciated and loved Joe as our brother-in-law and uncle-hard work, loyalty, love (and an appreciation for good food) describe him so well. The loss of him is heartbreaking and we hope that he has found peace.

The day we said I DO! We are simple peeps and didn't take much to make us happy and I'll never forget that special day.

Joe was always so gentle and kind. He loved his wife and he would buy her things, just to surprise her. He was always fixing things around the house. I talked to him, mostly on the phone. I will miss that.

Joe was a special person in my eyes. I worked with him at SRS for years. He was funny and huggee! He always made me laugh and I had great times with him at work. I will always remember Joe and I'm so sorry for his wife and family going through these very hard times. May your great memories put a smile back in your heart soon!

Our hearts go out to KIrsten and the rest of Joe´s family over his untimely death. His life, like all our lives, had its share of ups and downs, but we are grateful for his enduring devotion to and deep affection for our daughter, Kirsten, along with his children, grandchildren, and mother. His death, as the death of everyone that we have loved and who has loved us, leaves us with deep sadness, but we pray that he may at last rest in peace and that the memory of his devotion and affection may sustain you in the days ahead.

He was one of the most generous people I have known. He helped me mow my lawn when I was pregnant. He always was there when I needed a hand with anything. No questions asked! I am going to miss him.
