Somehow I know the WMU welcomed her to her forever home. I remember Jo to be a kind, thoughtful, and gracious woman ready for a laugh and looking to serve others. What a legacy she has left for her family to cherish.

I first me Jo at Simson Wood conference center outside of Atlanta, Georgia where she came to see "just what Donnie did!" We all fell in love with her on the spot. When Donnie had a health crisis and Jo couldn´t travel, she designated me family so I could interact with the doctors to share information with her. I have since loved her all these many years, from a distance. Jo was a true southern treasure.
