To my Baby Boy,
My heart skipped a beat when you were born. In that moment, I knew that I would love you for the rest of my life. I'm so grateful to have had you in my life because you were the most perfect gift I could have ever asked for. You had a kind and compassionate heart; and were strong and courageous as your perseverance knew no bounds. You were quiet and reserved but behind closed doors, you were full of humor and personality. On one hand, you could tell a joke and yet, still have meaningful conversations on the other. You appreciated your space but were generous with time and giving with love. Your laughter lit up my soul and when you smiled, my stress melted away, along with the anxious thoughts in my head. You were my first "good morning" and my last "good night." You were everything to me.

You were the best person I had ever known. You were the most incredible son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson and best friend anyone could ask for. I'm positive that you were the world's greatest friend, and I know this because you were my greatest friend. You could chat with your friends on the phone for hours or sit with your friends in your room and say nothing at all just because you took joy in the silent presence of each other. I'm so honored to have been able to witness the beautiful and inspiring friendships you've had with Dylan, Gabe and Ryley over the years. One could only hope to have friendships and bonds like yours once (let alone three times) in their life. They loved you so much.

Dad and I are so undeniably grateful and honored to have been your parents, and, to have been able to cherish every day that we had had with you. Your sisters will forever carry you with them, in their smiles, their eyes, their laughter, their hearts and souls. And, you forever will reside within their memory. Our hearts have spaces only meant for you, and our lives go on, forever facing a world without you there. But, we will honor your memory through love for each other and a promise never to take life for granted. Fly on to heaven, and one day, I promise, we will fly with you. I will love you forever Boo.
