It´s been nearly 23 years since you´ve been gone and there hasn´t been a single day that has passed that I haven´t thought about you.
I will never forget the first time that we met; how we left a whole group of our mutual friends and spent hours just driving, you showing me some of the beautiful places that you loved going and talking like we had known each other forever. You instantly became "my person".
There are so many things that I wish I had done differently and so many things that I wish I would have told you...I thought there was time.
I am so grateful for the time that I had with you and knowing you was worth every ounce of the pain.
I will carry your memory with me always.
