Joyce Marie Fuller Joyce Marie Fuller, 59, died November 12, 2013 in Eureka, CA. A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 24th, 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Blue Lake. A potluck wake will immediately follow at the Mad River Grange. Joyce was born December 4, 1953, in Weaverville, California to Esther and Raymond Fuller. Joyce was a lifelong Blue Lake resident - living in the home she grew up in Joyce was a champion of animals, children, the elderly and her town of Blue Lake. She had been an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Blue Lake, belonged to the Blue Lake Museum Society, Friends of the Blue Lake Library, volunteered as an usher at Dell'Arte Theater and she was a willing volunteer for activities for Blue Lake School. Her interests included animals, sewing, visiting friends, crocheting and reading. Joyce remembered everyone's birthday and made that day special with a small gift or a card. She will be missed by those whose lives she touched. Ms Fuller is survived by cousin, Judy Christie; brother, Daniel Fuller, and nephew Travis Fuller, and many loving neighbors and friends. She is also survived by decades of dogs and cats in Blue Lake whom she loved and cared for her entire life. She was preceded in death by her parents. Thanks to Hospice of Humboldt and Eureka Rehabilitation for their wonderful care. Donations honoring Joyce and her deep love of four legged friends may be made to any local animal organization.
