My sister,Bessie and I will remember Mrs. Isom fondly. When she taught at Margaret Hearne, she would always greet us in the hall with a smile and a sticker. Those stickers meant a lot to me, as I was only 3 yrs old and Mrs. Isom kindness and smile made going to school a pleasant experience. We Love and Miss you Mrs. Isom.

Ms. Isom was one of my child's favorite teachers at Wells. Even after she moved to middle school - she wanted to go visit. Ms Isom will be truly missed. God has gained an awesome angel!

There are some people in life that we can know for many years, get to visit almost daily and always enjoy each and every moment with them. Joyce was that type of person - I thank God for all the years we were fellow-workers and all the times we got to chat and share experiences. I was deeply saddened to learn that she left so suddenly, yet I know, today, she's in a much better place, with our Heavenly Father. God gives us kind, loving and caring people like Joyce to show us ... a taste of the love He has for us and the precious gifts that are in store for us. I pray that God will guide and comfort Joyce's family and her love ones as they mourn her loss.

Ms. Isom taught my son for his kindergarten and first grade years. She was a joy and delight. She was thoughtful, kind and selfless. We are heartbroken for your loss. We shared in her dream of rocking in her rocking chair in her retirement years. We will hold her memory tight in our hearts.
