At her home on Sunday, January 26, 2014, Joyce A., age 68, of Kennedy Twp. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. McCabe; loving mother of Robert C. McCabe and Kelly (Adam) Hinds; dear grandmother of Austin and Brett Hinds; dear sister of Barbara (Jim) Rosenberger, Carolyn (Bob) Funwela, Thomas (Theresa) Stacy, Ronald (Mary) Stacy, and the late Robert S. Stacy; sister-in-law of Betty Stacy. Friends received at the HERSHBERGER-STOVER, INC. FUNERAL HOME, 170 Noble Avenue, Crafton, on Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where a Blessing Service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. If desired, memorials may be made to Teresa's Hope 4 Hearts, P.O. Box 16293, PGH., PA 15242, www.teresashope4hearts.org.

I was saddened to hear of Joyce's passing. I knew her from her volunteer work at the OVGH medical office building. She was always so nice and friendly to me. She enjoyed talking to me about her grandsons, her face would light up. I will miss her smiling face. My sympathy and prayers go out to her family. May you feel God's comfort during this difficult time.

Joyce's Family,
I am so sorry for your loss.
I met Joyce in 2010 when I began working at Ohio Valley General Hospital. As an OVGH volunteer, Joyce was always pleasant and willing to lend a hand. Joyce helped me with many, many projects at the Hospital. If I had a project and it was a Thursday, I was heading over to the Medical Office Building's lobby to ask Joyce if she could help out. She always responded with a smile and said, “Sure, I can do that.” Her gift of volunteerism was appreciated and valued.

I was very sad to hear the news of Joyce's passing. You have my deepest sympathy. I grew up in Elliott and remember Joyce from my early childhood years. Later I saw Joyce through my friendship with her brother Ron and his wife Mary. She was a very special lady. I know that this must be a very difficult time for your families.
