Joyce Nelson Obituary
February 3, 1924 - July 23, 2014
Joyce Evelyn Nelson passed away peacefully at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, John, who has been patiently waiting to hold her in his arms again. "Well, Mother?" Joyce leaves to mourn three daughters; Catherine, Carol (Lee Anderson), Jaye (Michael Linden), son Lynn, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two cats. Joyce was gentle and kind. Her knitting skills and "Gramma Meals" were legendary, as was her wicked sense of humour. Her home was filled with laughter as only a loving family can generate. Joyce was always available to patiently listen and provide guidance. She will be forever missed and always in our hearts. Interment in Whitewood will be held at a later date.

Oh the wonderful memories I have of over 50 years of knowing Auntie Joyce. She like my Mom was always thinking of friends and family. I'm sure that Uncle John was waiting with open arms. Rest in peace dear Auntie - you were well loved.
