Joyce OOL Obituary
1932 - 2017
On October 21, 2017, a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend Joyce Ool of Edmonton passed away at the age of 85 years. Joyce is survived by her son, Errol; three sisters, Marlene (Ray) Peets, Pat (Larry) Walters and Diane Lane.
She was predeceased by her husband, Helmut in 2009 and parents, Hugo and May Schnee. Special thank you to the nursing staff on Unit 5F3 at the U of A Hospital and to Dr. Ahmadinejad for his care and compassion.
A private family service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017. In lieu of flowers or donations, Joyce's last request for family and friends was simply "Do something kind for someone".

I worked with Joyce in the old University of Alberta Hospital on Station 32. My first job as a new graduate. I learnt so much from Joyce as to handling workloads, treating patients with compassion and respect to everyday living. She was such a wonderful nurse and inspiration to all. My heart goes out to her family and friends with this loss. Many great memories!

Joyce was a loving mother and caring friend. For the short time I actually knew her it was clear she enjoyed a good long talk, her family visits and the various furry friends. She will be missed by everyone who crossed her path.
