Juan Leon Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 17, 2016.

Juan Carlos Leon, Jr. was called home to the Lord on June 16, 2016. Junior was born on November 24, 1992 in Los Angeles, CA to his surviving parents Juan Carlos and Oralia Leon. He is also survived by his younger brother, Andrew Alexander Leon and his younger sister, Isabella Natalia Leon.

He graduated from Walnut High School in 2010 and completed the Forensics Academy ROP program with the LA County Sherriff’s Department in Walnut, CA. He attended DeVry University, Fullerton Community College and completed the EMT school. He successfully completed and received his EMT California Certification. He was currently employed at Blattner Energy in Blythe, CA and a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local Union No. 944.

Growing up Junior spent several summers in Mexico with his grandparents and family. He especially enjoyed spending time in the ranch of Cebollitas, Canelas, Durango, Mexico where he rode horses, swam in rivers, and traveled the country side of his grandparent’s birthplace. Junior created a strong bond with many family members and cousins in Mexico.

For the last 5 years Junior enjoyed training and mastering Muay Thai and competed in several tournaments. He spent his free time physical conditioning, weightlifting and training.

By far Junior’s favorite pastime was spending time with his cousins and all of the dear friends he had. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him; especially his parents, brother, sister, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and the many cousins and friends.

A prayer service will be held in his memory at Rose Hills Mortuary Sky Chapel on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 7:00 pm and a Funeral Holy mass on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 1:00 pm.
