Juanita Devera Varnado Eaton slipped into Jesus' arms on June 6, 2014. Juanita was born on December 10, 1920 in Picayune, MS. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Eaton, and by their daughter, Linda Ruth and by their grandson, Collin Blake Deckler. She is survived by her children, Emily Rowe and her husband Marshall of Alta Loma, CA, Gary Eaton of Largo, FL and Nancy Alvarado and her husband Tony of Fulshear, TX. Juanita is also survived by her eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Juanita is also survived by her sister, Louise Nuckolls of Sylva, NC and her brother, Kenneth L. Varnado of Brazoria, TX. She is predeceased by her brothers Lloyd and Johnny. Our Mother exemplified faith in Christ, dedication to family, generosity, and integrity. Memorial services are planned for a later date to celebrate Juanita's life. In lieu of normal remembrances, please make memorial contributions to the Star of Hope 6897 Ardmore, Houston TX 77054

Juanita was a true southern lady. She had a beautiful voice used to sing the praises of God in many church choirs. She and her husband Hugh were the best example of the hard working middle class. Juanita was a wonderful mother to her children and generous grandmother. Her youngest daughter Nancy was devoted to Juanita and took excellent care to provide her with an active and social life to the very end. I am proud to say they are both very special friends. I will miss you Juanita! Betsy Bohlen

Deepest sympathy to the family. So sorry to read of your great loss. May the loving- kindness of God sustain you through this difficult time. In part of the passage in Psalm 90 verse 10, it states, " The span of our life is 70 years, or 80 if one is especially strong......" Your love one lived beyond the average life span. It was a blessing to your family.
