Juanita Hardy

Mrs. Juanita Hardy was born on October 24,1930, in Meridian, Mississippi, to Collins and Jessie Smith. Juanita was the 3rd of 4 children. Her brother, Collins Smith, and sisters, Lillian Oliphant, and Dorothy Smith, proceeded her in death.

 
Juanita went to Thomas Jefferson High School in Los Angeles, CA. Graduating with her Class in 1949.
 
Juanita married, Henry Hardy, in Los Angeles, CA, on March 3, 1951. From the union, 7 children were born. 4 proceeding her in death ... Marlene, Darlene, and Willie Ira. Also Regina Hardy Butler in 2019. 3 surviving children, Beverly Burris of Palmdale, CA, Henry Hardy, Jr. of Port Hueneme, CA, and Patricia Hardy of Las Vegas, NV.
 
Juanita was an entrepreneur at heart, working with a variety of companies, such as, Cooper Craft, Princess House Crystal, and Avon. She also enjoyed working side by side with her husband,  Henry, catering to private parties. 
 
Juanita was the life of any party and would light up the room with her beautiful smile. She enjoyed celebrating life and all of it's victories, no matter how small, with her family and grandchildren.
 
Juanita was surrounded by family, when she passed away peacefully, on August 10, 2021.
 
Juanita leaves behind her 3 children ... Beverly, Henry Jr., and Patricia. 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and a host of neices and nephews, cousins and friends.
 
Juanita loved her family with all her heart and she will be missed deeply ...
