Judith Bird Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from May 14 to May 15, 2023.
Entered into rest, May 10, 2023 of North Easton, Massachusetts Judith (Judy) Greenberg Bird, wife of the late Steven Bird. Devoted Mum to her three children and their spouses; Sherry Herron (John) of Lakeville, Darrell Bird (Tracy) Whitman, Jeremy Bird (Meghan) of North Easton. Judy was truly most proud to be a grandmother. She loved her title, but alas, it was not just one! Judy was Gramma to Samantha Feliciano (Jay), Sydney Herron (Josh Harris), Emily, Joshua, Kyle, Dylan and most cherished "Bunya" to her little "Avalah", Ava. Judy was also the light in the lives of her great grandchildren; Sophia, Avi and Julian who all adored their Gigi.

Judy was blessed to still have her beloved mother, Jenny Greenberg and was the daughter of her beloved late father, Sidney Greenberg. She was the big sister to her best friends her sister, Paula Gluck (Curtis) of East Bridgewater and Robert Greenberg (Ellen) of Tamworth, New Hampshire. She was a cherished Auntie to many and a cousin to even more.

A very young 75 years of age, mum was someone who worked full-time right up until a devastating diagnosis of stage four breast cancer. Our mum was a fighter, giving her all in everything she did, but never more so than over the last six weeks.

Services will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 at 11AM at Schlossberg Family's Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington St., Canton. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park immediately following services. The family will host a luncheon at Knollsbrook Condominium Club House; 70 Erin Rd., Stoughton. Shiva will be held at the home of Sherry and John Herron that evening, 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judith's memory may be made to Mass General Cancer Center at Newton-Wellesley Hospital 2014 Washington Street, Newton, MA 02462.
