Judith Green Obituary
Judi was born in Beeville, Texas on January 12, 1955, to David and Barbara Green.
Judi graduated from Texas City High School in 1973, where she was a member of the TCHS Swim Team. She was named the Most Valuable Swimmer in 1973. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Stephen F. Austin University and her master's degree in education from the University of Texas at Austin.
Judi worked at Harper High School in Houston, where she received the Teacher of the Year Award twice. She worked for Houston ISD for 30 years and was loved by her students and co-workers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Barbara Green, brother David Green, and son, Derek Kennell. Judi is survived by her daughter, Shea Kennell, and grandchildren Angel, Skylar, Sunnie, Rainn, and Ryder. She is also survived by sisters, Becky Kellett (Tom) and Jacque Matthews (Ossie) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to extend thanks to longtime friend, Joanne Ozon Gongora, for her many years of friendship.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
